I had the most wonderful shower on May 3rd. I will never be able to thank all my family and friends that made this day so special. Caroline is one lucky little girl already. I also want to thank my hostesses that put some much work into making it just beautiful!!! It was the most perfect day!! I want you all to know that you will be such a special part of Caroline's life and I can't wait for everyone to finally get to meet this baby girl. David had so much fun when I got home going through everything. We have started to do the final organizing, but it is still going to take some time. David and I are very fortunate to have such wonderful family and friends that love us so much!!!! We love you all too!!!

31-week belly shots

Here are my 31-week belly shots taken last night after our childbirth class. I have my 32-week check-up appt on Monday, so everything is pretty boring right now. I am starting to get really anxious :) My Mother's Day present from my mom was another 4D ultrasound, so we have an appt this Friday. I know we just had it done at 27-weeks, but I can't wait to see sweet Caroline's face again :)

I want to wish all my friends that already have their sweet children and all my mommy-to-be friends a very Happy Mother's Day!! David and I are very lucky to have the best moms in the world. They have always been there for us and I just hope that I can be half the mom they are to my sweet Caroline soon!!!

MOM!!

One of my good friends sent this to me and I just had to share it:

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?" God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you." The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy." God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy." Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?" God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak." And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?" God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray." Who will protect me?" God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life." But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore." God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you." At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name." God said, "You will simply call her, 'Mom''.

30-week Checkup!!

I went for my 30-week checkup on Monday. My doctor said until 35 weeks the appointments will be very uneventful, but I take that as a good thing. I had gained one more pound, so a total of 10 pounds. I thought it would be lots more because of my new chocolate addiction and eating all the yummy food at my shower. Not to mention, I took a ton of leftover cake home!! I am going to attach some pics, but I look so tired. These were taken around 10pm after a long Monday!! We had just got back from our childbirth class. We also had our CPR class on Tuesday night and we both got our Heartsaver cards. I am so glad that I took that class, I feel very comfortable with infant and child CPR now :) I am going to do a post later on my shower, but there are so many pictures, it is going to take forever!! Hope everyone is having a great week!!

We are not forgotten!!!

As everyone knows, Katie and Lacey are our babies and they always will be :) They have not been forgotten!!! They are very curious about all the new stuff in Caroline's room, etc. I catch them all the time hanging out on the lime green rug in her room!! I know it is going to be a transition for them, but they will be great with her!!

Katie's shower was April 6th (yes, I am really behind). It was such a wonderful shower helping her get ready to welcome their sweet baby boy. We are just calling him "Baby Thomas" until Katie and Jared decide on a name :) She got some really neat and useful items!! She is due July 4th, so we are really, really close.
