We wanted to make sure our new Christmas tree was not going to be too big for our foyer. We didn't put up our old tree last year because we were in Florida during the holiday season. But, this year we are having Christmas at our house, so here is the new 10.5 ft. pre-lit tree. We didn't spread it out, just wanted to stand it up to get a better idea of how much room it is going to take up. We have decided to do something a little crazy with the decorations, basically a color scheme that is not traditional, so I will have lots of pics posted the end of November. I can't wait to decorate, it is my favorite time of the year!!!

thanks for the compliment, and for pointing me to pyzam. i LOVE the idea of a nontraditional color-theme christmas. i look forward to seeing your tree...keep an eye out for our tree...it has been non-traditional for YEARS!! :)
i'm trying to decide whether or not i'm going to put up our tree this year...i'm going home pretty early this year, and i leave on the sat. after Thanksgiving for a weeklong trip...so i would only get to enjoy it for a couple of weeks. argh! it takes so long to put up i think i'll prob. skip it this year. :(
I think we're going to do our mini-me tree again this year since Setler isn't old enough to know better. Next year, we'll have to upgrade though!
And, don't feel too ahead for the holidays! I say go ahead and up the tree up and decorate! I read an article that stores are starting their "black Friday" sales (usually reserved for the day after Thanksgiving) today! Wow.
