Back in the day!!!

Sara and I.

Bern, thank you so much for sending this to me. My friend Bernadette sent me this picture last night. It was at Will Helton's birthday party probably in kindergarten or first grade. Will's mom, Martha, e-mailed it to her. How cute are Sara Schrekenhofer (Hickman) and I with our bows.

Girls night on Friday!!

Me, Michele and Katie

Me and Joslin Ann

The Conway High crew!!

Having so much fun!!

This past Friday, I did a girls night at the house and it was so much fun!! We just hung out and much later in the night decided to go sing karaoke!! Starla, Joslin, Michele, Shelley, Katie and Carol I had so much fun, let's do it again soon!!!

Just testing it out!!

We wanted to make sure our new Christmas tree was not going to be too big for our foyer. We didn't put up our old tree last year because we were in Florida during the holiday season. But, this year we are having Christmas at our house, so here is the new 10.5 ft. pre-lit tree. We didn't spread it out, just wanted to stand it up to get a better idea of how much room it is going to take up. We have decided to do something a little crazy with the decorations, basically a color scheme that is not traditional, so I will have lots of pics posted the end of November. I can't wait to decorate, it is my favorite time of the year!!!

Race for the Cure!!

Sarah and I did Race for the Cure on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day for it. There were close to 45-50,000 participants. We got done around 9:30 and headed to Mimi's Cafe for some breakfast. Then, after that I went home to get Katie and Lacey so they could go to the puppy park. I don't think David got any pictures, but we took them down to the boat ramp for a quick swim too.

P.F. Chang's Girls Night!!

Me, Joslin and Katie

All of us!!

Shelley and Michele

Katie and Starla

On Monday night I met up for dinner at P.F. Changs with Starla, Katie, Michele, Shelley and Joslin for our monthly girls night out for dinner. I went to high school with all these fun ladies, so it is so much fun to catch up and reminisce. Here are some pics from our fun night!!

I am not the only one that thinks it is a beautiful day!!

I can't keep Katie and Lacey inside today. I let them in within a couple of minutes they are standing by the back door ready to go back in. I really wish that we would of done a doggie door, but I could see that being used at all hours of the night. They love the fall weather, but who wouldn't with a fur coat like they have to wear all year. They have already went on their two mile walk with me. They are usually tired by then, but they have so much energy with this awesome weather. I also, just got my new front door mat in from Target. I wanted one that was longer and would stretch all across the front door. Also, David and I bought a pumpkin that lights up at night for Halloween. I can't wait to see all the trick-or-treaters dressed up their cute little outfits!! I have Race for the Cure in the morning with Sarah, so I will take some pics and post them over the weekend!! I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful weekend :)

State Fair!!

Poor David having to ride all alone :(

David on the super shot!!

Me after the Orbitzer!!

Before the Orbtizer, I had no idea!!

David enjoying his lemon shake-up

Me and my yummy apples!!

David and I decided to go to the State Fair on Tuesday night. It was military day, so we got in the gate for free and free parking. We somehow still managed to spend a little over $60.00. We walked through the livestock barns first, then off to enjoy all the yummy (but very fattening) food. David got a lemon shake-up and a gyro. I ordered a normal size corn dog and a coke. Then after that we were still hungry, so we split a hamburger and a piece of pepperoni pizza. Then for dessert, David got funnel cakes and I got caramel apple slices. Yes, we ate our fair share of junk at the fair, good thing it is just once a year. Then we proceeded to by tickets for the rides. It was already so late we didn't see the point in an arm band. So, I got twenty tickets for $20.00. This pretty much means David and I each get to ride two rides each. Well, over the years I have noticed that I can't ride all the one I used to, my stomach is way too weak. Well, I pick the orbitzer. Little did I know, this is one of the fastest rides there. I didn't think I was going to make it through, I don't think a carnival ride has ever gone on for that long. Well, after that I could not ride anymore rides, not even the ferris wheel. Poor David had to ride the super shot twice to use up all the rest of my tickets.

I love my new washer and dryer!!

Finally, our new washer and dryer arrived yesterday. They delivered it last Wednesday but there were dents and scratches all over it. So, the ones that arrived yesterday are perfect. I know it is weird, but I have always loved doing laundry. So, I did three loads last night and they are perfect, I love them!! We need a bigger laundry room, but they still fit. We decided to go with the front load washer and it seems to be doing a great job. Here is a pic David took after my towels got done!!

Karaoke King!!

David and I went to this little restaurant/bar in Maumelle called Lucky's. They have karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. We met up with Whitney and some people that she worked with. I went to college with Whitney and we have always stayed in touch, but we really had some catching up to do, so what better way than some karaoke!! Well, David had never sang karaoke before, so everyone kept telling him that he needed to. I don't have many pictures of the group, just David and Jeff because they took over the place with their karaoke skills. Here are a couple of fun pics:

Cajuns

David and I met up with Sarah at Cajuns on Thursday for a couple of hours. I wish it cool down some, because we actually stayed inside most of the time instead of outside because it was so hot!!

Sugar Loaf Mountain!!

Lacey and I riding back to the ramp!!

Lacey letting the wind hit her in the face.

Little Katie Bug is worn out.

Our favorite sandy beach area.

Katie and Lacey cooling off, after the hike.

The sun was in her eyes, so David let her borrow his visor!!

My handsome husband!!

David being "David".

Once again!!

Taking a break before the we got to the top.

What a view and we were not even to the top yet!!

What beautiful dogs!!!!

Another great view.

Just starting the climb!!

Beginning at the bottom.

We decided to take the boat out last weekend and go climb Sugar Loaf Mountain. The water is starting to get chilly, but the weather is so beautiful that we are not ready to winterize the boat just yet. David and I really enjoyed the beautiful view, but I think Katie and Lacey had way more fun. We didn't have to keep them on the leashes until we started to get to the top. I was so scared that would fall off a bluff. They had so much fun running ahead of us and then stopping to look back as if they were trying to say "hurry up". It was a great workout, I was huffing and puffing by the time we got to the top. After the climb, we went across the lake to our favorite sandy beach. There is the most awesome beach area with sand, so Katie and Lacey have the best time digging in the sand and chasing each other around.
