MIA!!

I am so sorry for the lack of post!! Please don't give up on our blog. I will be back in full swing soon. It is very demanding to have both babies and try to work full time from home. I am just trying to get into a routine at the moment. Corbin is doing good. He did give us a scare last week and got dehydrated and had to spend the night at Children's. Caroline is a wonderful big sister and just still amazes me everyday at how much she is learning. Check back in on us soon and I hope to have lots of pictures. David's mom was here for close to two weeks and I took full advantage and got some rest. However, it doesn't take long to get worn down again. Corbin is very gassy and has really bad reflux, so that can make for some very long nights. When, he naps during the day, Caroline is going full throttle. I would love for some encouraging words from any moms out there with children so close, it is wearing me down. However, I know how blessed I am to have two beautiful children. I know we are truly blessed from the Lord above, but I am just a TIRED mommy at the moment!!!

We went out to dinner last Thursday night with the Adam's family. We met them at Cheer's in Maumelle, it is my favorite restaurant in Maumelle. We all kept our fingers crossed that all the kiddos were good. Morgan and Scott have a beautiful 7-month old little girl Mia.

Corbin's newborn photo session!!

Shannon Treadway did Corbin's newborn session last Thursday, she did an AMAZING job. Shannon was so patient while we took breaks to feed, change, etc Corbin during the session. She sent me a sneak peek, go check them out, can't wait for all the proofs.

Wow, I am officially 30 years old!!

I turned 30 on Saturday, it just seems like yesterday I was turning 20. I had a wonderful day!! Spent the day with my three favorite people in the world :) David's grandparents sent me a gift card to Red Lobster, so my sister, brother and brother-in-law offered to keep both babies for about 3 hours while we went to dinner and a movie. It was a much needed break for David and I. Thanks to Aunt Sarah, Uncle J and Uncle Jason.

Caroline is so busy!!

David and I were both changing Corbin's diaper the other day. It was a first time parent moment, that I didn't expect. He was peeing straight up in the air and pooping all at the same time. So, it took four hands :) In the meantime, Caroline was in our bedroom and then I asked David, where did Caroline go, she was in our bathroom having fun putting her shoes in the toilet. I am beginning to think it is going to take two adults for sometime to corral this house, David please do not leave and go back to work :)

Big Sister, Baby Brother!!

Caroline has really started to realize that baby brother is here to stay. She is so sweet to him, except when she takes his paci :) I did not intend for Corbin to use a paci and for sure not the green soothie one, but one afternoon he was very upset and Caroline beat me to him and she stuck it in his mouth and he loves it. Thanks big sister :) It is almost impossible to get a picture of both of them together right now. These were taken last Monday, so Corbin was just 4 days old. He is very jaundice in the pictures, but his coloring is improving everyday.
