Destin Getaway!!

View from our room!!
Another shot from our room.
Getting ready to go to dinner.

David looking handsome as EVER!!
Couple time :)

Sunset from our room.

Sunset pictures one night, David didn't warn me about this, so I only had a old white tank, but we love the pics.

28-weeks Belly Shot, get ready for lots of belly pics!! Since, I am slacking this pregnancy.

It was so gorgeous every night at sunset, I don't think we were ever awake for sunrise pics.

David giving Corbin kisses.
Me trying to be serious, it is so hard for me to do that in pictures.

In Love Forever!!

Handsome Hubby!!

I couldn't quit taking pictures, what a gorgeous subject and background.

I swear this is Caroline's face.

Just being silly.

Another belly pic.
28-weeks

This is my weekly belly pic. I think I need to start doing the comparison to my belly now and last year with Caroline, I am so much bigger this time.

Another balcony pose before dinner.

Relaxing on the beach.

David deciding what he wants for dinner at Harry T's.

Enjoying a cold Margarita :)

I took this from our little digital camera while David was driving, but this was an awesome spot sand bar that we passed everyday. I think if you click on any of the pics, you can make them bigger.

Another off the bridge pic.

David has lots of fun on his boogie board.

Mother's Day dinner at AJ's Seafood

Hanging out at Destin Commons waiting to go to the movies.

Playing putt-putt, I was ahead for awhile and then I started to get attacked my mosquitoes and I lost my lead.

Getting ready to start playing.

David and I such a great time in Destin. We left on a Friday morning and got back the following Wednesday. It was a much needed vacation for both of us and just some time ALONE!! However, we missed Caroline like CRAZY!! I never worried about her since I knew Sassy was taking such wonderful care of her the whole time. We stayed at Island Echoes Condos right on the water. It was a perfect time to go, it wasn't very crowded at all. The beaches were beautiful!! I stayed at the pool a lot, there was hardly anyone every there. I lathered myself in sunscreen, but still managed to get burned a little. I finally to started to tan, but now I am peeling :( The first night once we got checked in , we were both very exhausted, so we just grabbed a burger. The next morning, we went to get some groceries at Publix (which I was we had that store in Arkansas) and then headed out to the beach for the day. We decided to eat out every night, since those times are rare now with little Caroline and will be even more rare once we have two children under the age of 1.5. The first night we went to Harry T's, it was right on the water and it was my least favorite. I forgot we had lunch that day at The Crab Trap and it was awesome. Sunday was Mother's Day, so I was really sad that I was away from Caroline and my mom. However, my family went to go get Sassy and Caroline and they all went out to dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. I received the sweetest card from David and Caroline. Sassy's present was awesome, since she kept Caroline for five days. My mom got me the 4D ultrasound. I had a wonderful Mother's Day, but will never spend it away from my kids. David took me out to eat at AJ's Seafood that evening and it was by far one of my favorites, we then went shopping at the Outlets and I was itching to spend a Dooney and Bourke giftcard, so I got a new purse. I also went to the Coach outlet and had to get one little goody from there :) We then decided to go sightsee and see a movie. What a fabulous Sunday, we had. Monday and Tuesday we pretty much just relaxed on the beach. Monday night we decided to stay in and order pizza. David grew up eating Hungry Howie's, since he is a Florida Native, so his mouth was watering for one. It was so good, you can pick your flavor of crust, yum. Our last night we went right down the street from our condo and at Old Bay Steamer, where I had the best Lobster ever!! Okay, now since this very pregnant lady is telling about the vacation, I realized that all I have done is talk about food :) Well, being so pregnant I wasn't allowed to go parasailing, etc. Which I would rather save that for the next beach vacation and I will not be pregnant. It was just nice not being on a schedule, as I am sure all you parents can understand when you are away from your kiddos for a day or a few days!! Again, Thanks Sassy for letting us get away!! I guess this was our "babymoon" before Corbin gets here.

Caroline's 10-month update!!

Will not play in the exersaucer, but loves to play on the outside.
OMG, no hands!!

What is Caroline doing at 10 months?? It might be easier to list what she isn't doing :) She is a very busy little girl. She goes 110 percent from the time she wakes up to her naptime or bedtime.
*She has 5 top teeth coming in, not very much sleep going on around the Kelly house.
*She is trying to walk so bad. She can pull herself up from a sitting to a standing position without holding onto anything.
*She loves to bend down and pick up a toy and stand all alone for a few second.
*Caroline tries to mimic so many things we do.
*She has the sweetest wave and says "HIII" in her own way. She also says Thank You, but only mommy and daddy would probably know what she is saying :) She is just babbling non-stop.
*She has gotten very attached to her blankey, if we get her out of her crib, she reaches down to grab it. She will crawl all over the house with it always in one hand. What is funny, David and I both had security blankets as babies.
* I mean the second she hears the bath water or we say "Bath time" she does the fastest crawl ever to her bathroom, she loves bath time.
*She is really starting to love to sit down and actually flip through pages of her books instead of trying to eat them.
*She is eating so much better since her ear tub procedure.
*She is so inquisitive about how thing are put together, taken apart, etc.

I know there are things that my pregnancy brain is forgetting. But, she is literally growing before our eyes. We love you Monkey!!

Sassy's visit!!

Sassy and Caroline
Caroline loves to point her finger :)

This is my favorite!!

On our way to Kenny Chesney

Playing in her playroom.

Whatcha doing Sassy??

David and I are so THANKFUL for Sassy. Lesley flew in to keep Caroline while David and I went to Destin for five nights!! It was very bittersweet for me to leave Caroline, but I knew she was in the best hands with Sassy. Caroline and Sassy had so much fun together, despite all the rain that Arkansas got the week we were gone. Caroline had many park trips, lots and lots of playtime, etc. Sassy helped work with Caroline on drinking out of a sippy cup, a little better, but not quite there yet. I think it has something to do with her having thickened liquids for so long. Sassy did a great job taking care of the entire house including the dogs and fish. Katie and Lacey never eat very much while we are gone, so they were little piggies when we got back on Wednesday night. Lesley also finished cleaning out the guest bedroom closet (which is soon to be Corbin's), so I have a clean slate in that room to start decorating. She did so many little projects around the house that really helped David and I so much. We returned Wednesday evening and Lesley stayed through Sunday. We all went to Corbin's 4D ultrasound on Thursday. Friday she kept Caroline while David played golf and I ran a ton of errands and got caught up on work from being away. Lesley is a huge Kenny Chesney fan, so we got last minute tickets to go see him on Saturday night. Thanks to Aunt Sarah for watching Caroline. Overall, it was a great visit, but we really wish Sassy didn't leave 1,200 miles plus away. The pictures are some that Sassy took of Caroline while we were away. Ignore the dates, they were not set on the camera :) Lesley, Thank you so much for taking care of sweet Caroline and letting us have a stress free vacation. What a wonderful Mother's Day present for me :)

Corbin's 4D Ultrasound!!

We went to baby views last Thursday for Corbin's 28-week 4D ultrasound. I knew he was much bigger than Caroline at this age, but I had no idea a little over a pound bigger. He is weighing a little over 3 pound, give or take a few ounces. He looked wonderful and he was measuring big all over, so he didn't just have a big head, little body, everything was proportioned perfect so far. He has lots of the same facial features as Caroline, but everything is just chunkier. His cheeks were so fat already. He was measuring about 30.5 weeks, so Shea (ultrasound professional) thinks he will be here the end of July. All I can say is YIKES, we have not ordered furniture, bedding, etc. Shea didn't get as many pics as she wanted because halfway through he flipped over on this tummy and all we could see was the back of his head and shoulders. The umbilical cord was draped over his face in some of the pictures, he kept sucking on it. As of Thursday he was head down, but I think he can still flip back and forth until he gets a little bigger. Hope everyone enjoys the sweet pictures of Corbin.

I miss blogging!!

I am so sorry to all of our fellow bloggers for being such a slacker. I have been spending all my spare time (which is very little now days) cleaning out closets, getting ready to start on Corbin's room, etc. I don't think I am quite nesting yet :) David loves when I get in this cleaning rampage mood. It is quite a challenge if Caroline is with me because she seems to make a mess right behind me. So, I try to do all that while she is napping. Quick update on some things: Caroline got tubes in last Friday. She had four ear infections since the end of February. We would do a round of antibiotics and then 10 days later another ear infection. David and I can already tell she feels so much better. She is eating so much better, it was driving me nuts that she wouldn't eat hardly anything some days. She has also started babbling a lot more, it is so sad what all that fluid around her little ears were doing to her. Not to mention she was a good sleeper before, she is a GREAT sleeper now. I am usually getting really long naps out of her and she doesn't make a peep from 8pm-8am. She knows her poor mama needs some rest before Corbin gets here. I am a little over 27 weeks pregnant and I am not sure where the weeks have gone. I promise more belly pics soon!! Trust me the belly is growing daily. I had my glucose test on Monday and that all came back normal. I will go June 1st for my next check-up and then start going every two weeks. After, I got over all the sickness from the first and part of the second trimester, I feel great. I have gained 6-8 pound total, so about the same track as when as was pregnant with Caroline. Corbin is so much more active than Caroline every was in utero. I will update all the new things Caroline is doing on her 10-month update, which is tomorrow.

Also, David and I are leaving Friday morning for a beach vacation in Destin. We had originally planned to take Caroline, but Sassy (David's mom) is going to fly in tomorrow and keep her while we go away for some alone couple time. I know she will be spoiled rotten and in the best hands with Sassy, but I am already having to hold tears back. I am going to miss her so much, I am sure a lot more than she will miss me. So, if any of you moms out there have any advice on how to enjoy myself without my missing my baby girl too much, I would love the advice!! I know David and I need some couple time since Corbin will be here so soon and we will be dreaming of a vacation alone :) We will get back on Wednesday and then Sassy will stay with us until Sunday. We are going for my 4-D ultrasound on Thursday, so it will be so fun to compare Caroline's pictures with Corbin's to see if we have another mini-David. Well, wish me luck on being away from Caroline for five nights. Expect lots of pics when we get back!! Here are a few videos of Caroline recently. Please, please excuse my voice, I am so used to talking non-stop to her, I forget that everyone has to hear my voice on the videos. Two are from Easter, one is in the highchair, I was having to make funny sounds to get her to eat because I am sure her ears were bothering her. The other one is from this morning. I have way too much fun hanging out with her all day!!
