David and I went to go visit his Dad and Joyce in Vero Beach, Florida. I was only able to stay for a week and David stayed for two weeks. It was very important that he stayed the extra week to spend his dad's 50th birthday with him. We had a wonderful trip. Ken and Joyce always go out of their way to make our visit so pleasant. During our trip, we had many great dinners made by Joyce and Ken. One night, Joyce made homemade Lasagna and it was so YUMMY!! We took the "Kelly's Girl" boat out for an afternoon ride. We anchored and had some awesome Cuban sandwiches. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean water and went for a nice dip. David's grandpa came over to visit for a couple of days. It is always so nice to see Tom (FYI: the sweetest grandpa in the world). We also got to meet Kevin's girlfriend Erica for the first time and that was a pleasure as well. I can't forget the bathing suit shopping that Joyce and I did. I found a new one at JCPenney's and I think Joyce got two there and one at Target. Ken and Joyce took us to Orlando for the day to Blizzard Beach Water Park. We met Kevin there and we made a wonderful day of it. It was so much fun!! I did most all the rides, but the guys could not convince me to do the Summit Plummet (sp). It was a straight down slide, that you can get speed up to 55+ miles per hour. No, thank you and not to mention the wait was close to two hours. The last night that I was there, we decided to play left, right and center. It was such a fun and easy game, especially if you are having a couple of drinks along with it. We also got to meet Toni and Tilly for the first time. They are Ken and Joyce's keeshonds. They are beautiful and I can't wait for them to meet Katie and Lacey at Christmas. We had the best time and wish it did not come to an end so fast, but we are looking forward to seeing you guys at Christma

Happy Birthday to us!!!!

My father-in-law and I have the same birthday. Unfortunately, we could not spend it together because I had to come back home a week before David. I want to wish the best Dad and Father-in-Law in the world a Happy 5-0 today. I hope you and David had a great time hanging out all day. Also, I can't believe 30 is creeping up on me so fast. I am 28 years old today!!!

Everything is normal!!

I have been out of town for the past week visiting Ken and Joyce in Florida, so I have lots of updates and pictures to come shortly. Also, I will put up pictures from Jason and Sarah's engagement party. But, I wanted to update that I got my blood work back and everything is normal with that, too. So, it looks like David and I will just pray that the next time around we have a healthy baby :)

Mini-Reunion

My good friend Bernadette came in town from Dallas to visit family and friends. So, we planned a girls night out to Shotgun Dan's pizza. Bernadette wanted to eat somewhere that she does not have in Dallas. It was great to catch up with everyone. We can't believe that our 10-year high school reunion is coming up. Joslin, Katie, Starla and Bern just wanted to let you all know that I had a great time and we will have to do it again soon :) Also, congrats to Bernadette and her husband Will, they are expecting little Jaxon the first of January!!

One test down, one more to go!!

Well, I just got great news from my doctor. The chromosome testing is complete and everything looks perfect. David and I are very relieved. Also, the baby was a little girl. My doctor said that most people do not want to the know the gender, but for some reason I just really wanted to know. I have blood work on Thursday and that should take about 2 weeks to get back, so if that is normal the doctors believe that the two miscarriages are just a fluke and we should try again soon.

Our Weekend!!

David loves going to the lake!!

Dam Site and Blue Sky

My sweet babies!!

David and I had such a relaxing weekend. We had Morgan and Scott over for dinner on Friday night. Morgan is one of my good friends from college. We had so much fun catching up and a having dinner. Thanks for coming over Morgan and Scott, we need to do it again soon. On Saturday morning, David went to play golf and I think I slept in until 9am. Then, on Saturday night we went to see Stephen King's 1408 movie. I did not really care for it, but it was David's turn to pick and he loves scary movies :) We were hoping for a beautiful day on Sunday and we finally got one, so we headed to Heber Springs for the day. We put the boat in at the dam site and we had a blue sky all day!!! I think this is the first so far this summer, we always seemed to get a least a rain shower!! So, the pictures I attach explain our weekend in for the most part. Katie and Lacey have figured out that floating on the raft, is so much easier than doing the doggy paddle.

Lesley came to visit David and I for several days last week and we stayed very busy. It had been several years since she made a visit to Arkansas, so it was neat to her to get to see our house (she has only seen pictures of the final product). We began by taking her to Cheers when we picked her up from the airport and we had some dinner and just got to catch up on everything. Then on Wednesday we went TV shopping, she is in the market for a new television, so David showed her the pros and cons of the televisions at BestBuy. We then had a cookout and went to Lake Willastein in Maumelle to watch the fireworks. The next day we went to visit the Clinton Library. It was very neat and I was very impressed with the architectural job. We then went to have lunch at the "Flying Fish", which is one of my favorite restaurants. On Friday we took Lesley to Greers Ferry and went out on the boat for the day. I think this was her favorite by far, it so beautiful there, how can you not love it. We got rained on, but we made the most of it and just anchored up and had a little picnic on the boat with the top up.

In the next couple of weeks we have a very busy schedule, so I will have lots of posting to do.
